Our Dia de Los Muertos Ancestral Celebration shares the rich traditions of Afro-Indigenous Culture. These oral traditions bring together Afro-Indigenous communities and the community at large in authentic engagement through stage presentations, workshops, and activities for youth and families
The festivities include a Calavera | Sugar Skull-making workshop. The Ameyal Mexican Cultural Organization presents a journey of Afro-Mexican genres complete with live folkloric music, dance, and a traditional procession.
This year's festivities include a Calavera | Sugar Skull-making workshop and performances by Dr. Calavera, Mariachi Veracuzano Miami, Fabi World, Hialeah High Rock Ensemble, and Danse Vodou Kwa Senbo.
“Festivities start at 6 PM at The Doral Yard on Saturday, November 2nd, and at 2 PM at The Florida Brewing Co. on Sunday, November 3rd with the Calavera | Sugar Skull workshop on both days.
